Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Enters Top 10 Most Followed Players

NFL Now, the League’s next-generation video service, today released consumer trends and overall consumption for Week 10 of the NFL season (November 4 – November 10). Since launching in August, fans have visited NFL Now from over 9 million devices, ranging from computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices.

NFL Now provides fans access to the largest digital library of NFL video anywhere accessible through apps and browsers across an array of Internet-connected devices. Offered for free with a premium tier, NFL Now allows fans to customize their own video stream of short-form videos and highlights from NFL Media and all 32 NFL clubs.

Video Consumption by Platform

On NFL Now subscribers can access the app from their desktop, mobile device, tablet, or connected device. In Week 10, 38 percent of the visitors used NFL Now on a mobile device while 37 percent used a desktop.

Most Followed Player

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a record setting night Sunday throwing for six touchdowns in the first half against the Chicago Bears. The performance moved Rodgers up five spots to become the seventh most followed player on NFL Now for Week 10. Fellow quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady still hold the first and second spots respectively.

Most Followed Team

The Sunday night matchup was the 190th time the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears met. After winning 55-14, the Packers moved to 6-3 on the season and up five spots to become the fourth most followed team in Week 10.

Most Watched Team

Thursday Night Football featured a pivotal AFC North divisional matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns victory brought their record to 6-3, first place in their division, and up 19 spots to become the second most watched team on NFL Now in Week 10.
