Dallas QB Tony Romo Enters Top 10 Most Followed Player List & Cowboys Remain Most Watched & Most Followed Team in Week 5
NFL Now, the League’s next-generation video service, today released consumer trends and overall consumption for Week 5 of the NFL season (September 30 – October 6).
NFL Now provides fans access to the largest digital library of NFL video anywhere accessible through apps and browsers across an array of Internet-connected devices. Offered for free with a premium tier, NFL Now allows fans to customize their own video stream of short-form videos and highlights from NFL Media and all 32 NFL clubs.

On NFL Now subscribers can access the app from their desktop, mobile device, tablet, or connected device. In Week 5, 42 percent of the visitors used NFL Now on a mobile device while 34 percent used a desktop.
Most Followed Player
During Week 5, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning held onto his top spot as the number one most followed player on NFL Now for the fifth week in a row. After leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 4-1 record, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo became 10th most followed player joining teammates DeMarco Murray and Dez Bryant who are also in the top 10.
Most Followed Team
With three straight victories, the New York Giants entered the top five most followed teams on NFL Now in Week 5. The Dallas Cowboys remain the most followed team.
Most Watched Team
All five of the most watched teams on NFL Now enjoyed a win in Week 5. Following their big win Sunday night, the New England Patriots moved up 19 spots to become the fourth most watched team in Week 5. The Green Bay Packers also had a resounding win on Thursday Night Football and were the second most watched team on NFL Now. Riding a four game winning streak, the Dallas Cowboys held on to their top spot as the most watched team.
