Fans Get a Taste of Super Bowl XLVIII at “Forty Ate”

In Collaboration with Union Square Events, Super Bowl Week Restaurant Located at Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel

In celebration of Super Bowl XLVIII, the first Super Bowl played in the New York/New Jersey region, the NFL is opening its first-ever Super Bowl-themed pop-up restaurant FORTY ATE, giving fans a taste of Super Bowl hospitality in the days leading up to the game.

Forty Ate will be located at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel (714 Seventh Avenue at West 48th Street) which offers unparalleled views of Times Square and Super Bowl Boulevard.  This modern steakhouse will be open from Monday, January 27 through Sunday, February 2 for lunch and dinner service as well as offer a bar bites menu throughout the day.

Forty Ate will provide diners the ultimate Super Bowl experience. Danny Meyer’s renowned Union Square Events (USE) in collaboration with the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel will operate the Dining Room and Bar, which is designed by GMR Marketing.

Forty Ate will feature NFL artifacts curated by the Pro Football Hall of Fame as well as the full set of 47 Super Bowl rings.  In addition, there will be NFL players dining at the restaurant throughout the week.

  • Tuscan Kale Caesar, Pecorino Romano, Roasted Breadcrumbs
  • “Gridiron” Burger, Vermont Cheddar, Caramelized Onions, Tomato Jam, Rosemary Fries
  • Grilled Skirt Steak, Potato Puree, Truffle Shoe Strings, Watercress
  • Garganelli Pasta, Satur Farms Winter Squash, Kale, Wild Mushrooms
  • Mac and Cheese Gratin, Parmigiano Crust
  • Iron Skillet Apple Pie, NY State Cheddar Crust, Walnut-Brown Sugar Ice Cream
