Ratings up 21% vs. Week 13 in 2011

Ranks as Thursday’s No. 1 Show on Cable

NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football broadcast of the Saints-Falcons game was watched by an average of 7.1 million viewers (not including over-the-air stations in New Orleans and Atlanta) making it the most-watched program overall on cable TV for Thursday, Nov. 29.

The Saints-Falcons game delivered the highest Thursday Night Football audience since September 27th (Cleveland at Baltimore – 8.1 million viewers) and is the third most-watched of NFL Network’s expanded 13-game schedule in 2012. Compared to NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football game in Week 13 of 2011, the rating (4.4) for the Saints-Falcons game is up +21% and viewers +19%. (Philadelphia at Seattle 12/1/11 – 3.6 US HH rating / 5.9 million viewers)

Through 11 games, Thursday Night Football is averaging a 4.1 US HH rating and 6.4 million viewers on pace to be the highest-rated and most-watched Thursday Night Football season ever.

Thursday Night Football continues next week with one of the NFL’s fiercest rivalries when four-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos visit the Oakland Raiders on Dec. 6 at 8:00 PM ET.

The Thursday Night Kickoff Presented by Craftsman pregame show begins at 6:00 PM ET. All Thursday Night Football games are streamed live on NFL Mobile from Verizon with complementary online coverage via Thursday Night Football.

Play-by-play announcer Brad Nessler and Emmy-nominated analyst Mike Mayock return to the Thursday Night Football broadcast booth for the second season and are joined by Alex Flanagan, who enters her third year as the sideline reporter.

Two hours before kickoff, NFL Network’s Thursday Night Kickoff Presented by Craftsmanpregame show is live from the stadium starting at 6:00 PM ET, taking viewers right up to kickoff with analysis and the latest reports. Host Rich Eisen is joined by Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin, and former head coach Steve Mariucci. Bollywood superstar and 2101 Records/Desi Hits!/ Interscope Records recording artist Priyanka Chopra is the featured artist for NFL Network’s Thursday Night Kickoff Presented by Craftsman pregame show. Priyanka’s debut single “In My City,’ featuring and produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga) and Brian Kennedy, is the music bed for the intro to Thursday Night Kickoff Presented by Craftsman. NFL Rush Zone: Season of the Guardians Premieres Friday, Nov. 30, at 9:00 P.M. (ET) on Nicktoons

NFL Rush Zone: Season of the Guardians, the first-ever original half-hour animated series jointly developed by a cable network and major U.S sports league, premieres this Friday, Nov. 30, Nickelodeon and the NFL jointly announced today.  The second season of Nickelodeon’s and the NFL’s co-produced series comprises 24 half-hour episodes and will debut with a one hour premiere at 9:00 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons with an encore on NFL Network, Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:00 a.m. (ET).  NFL Rush Zone: Season of the Guardians airs regularly Fridays at 9:00 p.m. (ET) on Nicktoons and Saturdays at 7:00 a.m. (ET) on NFL Network.

 In the series premiere, “Lions, Texans & Turkeys, Oh My!” kid protagonist Ishmael (Ish) is aided on his mission by Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who voices his animated persona.  Next in “Change of Plans,” Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware lends his voice and a helping hand.  The Houston Texans and Washington Redskins are also featured prominently in Friday’s episodes.
